Happy Mails
Happy Mails have been designed to assist you in increasing a sense of well-being and happiness. It is hoped that used regularly they may increase positive mood to bring about a happier long-term state of mind, as well as reduced stress. They cannot however guarantee change nor should they be seen as a means of alleviating more serious psychological symptoms.

Happy Mails in no way constitute psychological or medical treatment and should not be regarded as a substitute for such. Speak to your healthcare professional if you have any concerns.

Happy Mails will be provided to you in good faith and Make the Change is not liable in any way for your subsequent use of the Happy Mails.

4 Cancellation and refunds policy

Happy Mails

You can cancel from your Happy Mails subscription, however due to the low cost of this service, no refunds are given. Please email me at to cancel your subscription.

Counselling
Sessions should be cancelled via email: .
If you have paid for one counselling session and decide not to use the service a 50% refund is given. This policy is in place to emphasise the importance of entering into counselling and to ensure careful thought is given to signing up. If you have paid for subsequent sessions and decide to cancel, you will receive a 50% refund for sessions not used.

For text, voice or video counselling, you must email me your intention to cancel two hours before the session is due to begin to be eligible for a 50% refund. If you fail to attend the session without prior notice, or cancel less than two hours before, you will not receive a refund.

For the Problem page, if you have sent your problem and want to cancel, due to the rapid turnover from response to reply, this is not feasible and you will not receive a refund.

My right to terminate
I reserve the right to terminate services with you if you provided false information during registration and assessment. A 50% refund for remaining sessions will be given.

If it is felt during our work together that I can no longer counsel you or that online counselling is not really appropriate for you, I will assist you in finding a more appropriate service and help you with this referral process, should you require it. Refunds of your remaining sessions will be given, at no penalty to you.

5 Technical issues
If you have signed up for counselling and have provided me with a means of contact, I will make efforts to keep you informed of technical problems that have arisen. If necessary, another session will be scheduled as soon as is permissible to do so.

If you have an appointment but are having connection problems, you must contact me as soon as possible. An appointment will be rescheduled, without penalty to you. This is a goodwill policy and is subject to fair use. You will not receive a refund if I do not hear from you. It is your responsibility to contact me if you have problems.

If whilst counselling, connection problems should arise, you should try to reconnect. The session will continue to be available to you for the time stipulated. However, the session cannot be extended. If you are unable to reconnect, you will not receive a refund. If the connection problem is due to Make the Change, another appointment will be rescheduled as soon as possible, without cost to you.
